Battlefield Includes BotFocused Initiation Modes To Ease You Into Battle

With the Battlefield 6 open beta fast approaching, players looking forward to dropping into Battlefield's next big battle may want to play a few matches just to learn everything this new Battlefield game has to offer before jumping into PvP matches. Luckily for those more cautious players, both the full game and the upcoming beta test will offer a contingency plan in the form of Initiation matches tailor-made for player training.

According to the official Battlefield website, Initiation matches will populate bots on both sides of the battle, which will allow players to learn the maps, tactics, and weaponry of the Battlefield 6 experience. The open beta will offer Breakthrough Initiation battles that will teach new players everything they need to know about the objective-based format, while the full game will also offer Conquest Initiation for the "capture the territory" format.

The Battlefield 6 open beta test will take place across two weekends--the first being August 9-10 and the second set for August 14-17. The first weekend--which also includes an early access period for those who receive codes--will offer three maps and five game modes--including Breakthrough in both normal and Initiation modes--while the second weekend will add a fourth map and multiple new modes including Squad Deathmatch and Rush. Battlefield fans can earn special skins throughout the open beta period by watching beta-related content on Twitch, with four skins available to unlock based on how long BF6 beta streams are viewed.
