The beautiful Deluxe Special Editions of The Hobbit and The Silmarillion--with illustrations by J.R.R. Tolkien--are on sale for incredible discounts for Amazon Prime Day 2025. Normally $195 each, Lord of the Rings fans can get The Hobbit: Tolkien Illustrated Special Edition for $77.57 and The Silmarillion for $55.34. These deals are only for Amazon Prime members and are available in limited quantities. More than 50% of copies of The Hobbit had been claimed at the time of writing, so this deal is unlikely to last for the rest of the day (July 8), let alone through the duration of Amazon's big sales event.
